Meet Katie

Katie is a New England–born, Florida–based photographer who feels most at home near the ocean, behind a camera, or spotting wildlife on an adventure.

Her path to photography began in an unexpected place. With degrees in Animal Science and Global Sustainability and a deep love for the natural world, Katie’s perspective was shaped long before she ever picked up a camera. A trip to the Galápagos changed everything. Photographing for the first time, she instantly felt at home. Since then, she has traveled from Australia to Zambia to Belize, capturing wildlife and learning to recognize the honest, unscripted moments that make a story feel real.

That philosophy is at the heart of her work today. Katie believes the most meaningful images come from connection and ease. Her goal is to capture people exactly as they are — relaxed, natural, and fully present. Whether clients prefer candid moments, gentle guidance, or a blend of both, she creates sessions that feel comfortable, personal, and true to them.

Above all, Katie wants the experience to feel effortless. She guides clients every step of the way and delivers artwork designed to be enjoyed and displayed for years to come.

Meet Lindsay

Lindsay is the makeup artist I work with for sessions. She's been a makeup artist for over 18 years, starting in live theater — where she developed her eye for production and character design — before graduating from FSU Business School and moving to NYC to join the management team at MAC Cosmetics at Bloomingdale's 59th St., the second-largest account in the world. She later relocated to Florida as a MAC regional trainer and store manager for International Plaza, the largest account in the Tampa Bay area, and in 2009 left retail cosmetics to build her own freelance career, Lindsay Does Makeup. That practice has since grown into LDM Beauty Group, an elite team of hair and makeup artists, and in 2017 she launched DreamTeam Artistry, providing full-spectrum talent services for commercial and TV production. On shoots, that means professional, camera-ready hair and makeup from someone who understands both editorial polish and how a face reads on set — which makes clients feel confident in front of the lens and cuts down significantly on retouching.

Meet Ashley

Ashley Parker, owner and head trainer of Ultimutt Pet Services LLC and Bayshore Dog Training, is the trainer I bring in for pet sessions. She has over a decade of experience in animal welfare, starting as a veterinary technician while earning degrees in Biology and Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University, then working as a transfer counselor for the Richmond SPCA evaluating dogs medically and behaviorally. She went on to become a top trainer in the Richmond area, helping hundreds of dogs and their owners, with a particular strength in anxiety and fear-based reactivity rooted in her psychology background and her own work rehabilitating her rescue, Phoenix. Now based in Florida, she serves the Greater Tampa Area, is veterinarian recommended, and is a certified AKC Temperament Test (ATT) Evaluator. On shoots, that means an experienced professional on set to keep dogs calm, safe, and responsive, which makes for a smoother session and better photos, especially with nervous or high-energy pets.
