Our furry friends bring immeasurable joy and unconditional love into our lives. They stand by us through thick and thin, offering comfort and companionship that is simply irreplaceable. As our pets age, we find ourselves grappling with the inevitable truth that their time with us is limited. That’s why we cherish every moment we have left with them and celebrate their lives to the fullest. And is exactly what we did when I got the call from Cassie about her 17-year-old Pekignese, Macky.

Triton was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer when his dog mom decided it was time for a celebration of life session. And she picked an incredible time to do this session, when Triton was still acting “like himself” most days. She told me that he is an intuitive, inquisitive, bright pup and wanted to capture that during his session.

This past month has been pretty bananas, from traveling to the Florida Keys to Milwaukee to Connecticut, I didn't have time to host my normal Mother's Day sessions this year. When Laura reached out to make sure she hadn't missed the opportunity I assured her that I didn't have anything formal scheduled this year but OF COURSE wanted to take photos of her and miss Cally. It was a treat to spend time with them at the park this weekend!
