Mobile Pet Photography: Fae and Mame
What if I told you these were taken in a kitchen? Yep! With a large sliding door behind me—providing beautiful natural light—and my studio lighting setup, I transformed Julian and Rachel’s kitchen into a pet studio for their dog, Fae, and their cat, Mame.
But that wasn’t the only spot we had some fun. We embraced the furniture Julian and Rachel had at home for some variety. Like this beautiful couch.
We even had some fun in an egg chair!
You’ll notice that there aren’t photos of Mame, the cat, on the couch and chair. And that’s ok! The most important thing in a photo session with your pet is that they’re comfortable. Mame just wasn’t feeling the couch and chair vibes. But Julian had an idea. He said “Mame likes boxes!” So we went ahead and put her in a box for her time to shine.
And shine she did. Look at those whiskers!
If you’ve been contemplating having a session with your pet but worry about their comfort outside of home in a strange place, then know there are options to have the photographer come to you!
