mark & meghan engagaement shoot in bluffton

When I found out that my brother and Meghan got engaged, one of my very first thoughts was “I want to take their engagement photos!!!!”

I let them enjoy their engagement for what felt like an eternity (which in reality was a few days) before hounding them saying “can I come take engagement photos?!” because they live about 6 hours north of me in South Carolina.

They agreed and am SO happy that they did because these are some of my favorite photos.

I knew that they would be fun (and easy!) to shoot because they’re playful with each other and my brother can be quite the jokester. They went along with my odd prompts and I think the end products came out great.

We spent some time near some ruins and in an open field, and then Meghan’s clients were kind enough to have us over to their place and take some photos on their property, including their boat.

We rounded out a lovely evening with a dinner at the client’s house and some great conversation! And doggos!
