Mother’s Day with nichelle
Yeah, yeah, I know—we’re well past Mother’s Day at this point. But who would I be if I posted a blog AHEAD of the scheduled date?! And there’s two more coming so……….so there!
Anywho.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting someone new during my Mother’s Day Mini Sessions this year. And that someone is the lovely Nichelle.
After the rain had washed out our original meeting day/time, we rescheduled and met at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, one of my FAVORITE spots for sessions because it’s got everything - water, trees, open spaces. She and her young-adult children were all some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
Nichelle is an event planner (be sure to check out Halona Events) and graciously has recommended me to her clients since our shoot. I was blown away when we were chatting as we walked to the spot we were going to take our photos when she brought up SCUBA diving and mentioned that her husband has been diving with sharks. (She read my “About Me” page! How cool is that?!) For the record- shark diving is on my bucket list. I’d even say if there’s something more short-term than a bucket list, it’s on that. I need. to dive. with sharks.
I digress.
Nichelle really took the time to get to know me, and I her during this shoot, and I am so glad that we have connected. Her kids are also such wonderful people and I am so pleased at the idea of getting to work with them in the future as they celebrate their milestones!
