Why Motherhood Unveiled

Over the last year, while speaking with women about boudoir photography, I began to notice a heartbreaking pattern. Almost every mother I spoke with said the same thing: I don't even know who I am anymore. They felt like they had disappeared into the needs of their families. They loved being mothers, but they missed the woman they were before the world started calling them 'Mom.'

I created Motherhood Unveiled to bridge that gap. I wanted to create a space where you don't have to choose between the two. We document the beautiful, selfless work of your Devotion, and then we intentionally lift the veil to find your Reclamation. You aren't lost—you just haven't been the focus of the lens in a long time.

It’s time to change that.

Chapter One: Devotion

Motherhood is beautiful, all-consuming work. We are the architects of our children’s worlds, the keepers of their memories, and the heartbeat of the home. But in the middle of the giving, it is easy to become a secondary character in your own life. This first session is an invitation to document that devotion, capturing the raw, quiet connection of this season before it shifts.

Chapter Two: Reclamation

There is a woman who exists beyond the title of 'Mom.' She is still there: sophisticated, strong, and deserving of her own light. This second session is about reclaiming, well, you. It is the moment we lift the veil on the version of you that is often kept for yourself. It’s an opportunity to see your own strength and beauty through a different lens, remembering that you are your own person, even in the middle of a busy life.

These two sessions are designed to live in different, yet equally important, spaces in your world.

  • The Devotion Collection: Large-scale, tangible art for the heart of your home. These are the portraits your children will grow up under—a daily reminder of the warmth and connection of this season.

  • The Reclamation Collection: Private, high-end heirloom art designed for your most personal spaces. Whether it is a sophisticated album or a signature portrait for your dressing room, these are the images kept for you.
