“Can I go home with you'?”

My heart just about melted when I was asked this on my latest photo shoot. Yes, yes, of course yes! You girls were the cutest!

My dear friend Katie decided to purchase a gift certificate for her friend and co-worker, Jasmine, and the anticipation of the shoot was killing me! When Jasmine reached out to let me know she wanted to do a Christmas Mini-Session I happily got her on the books at Gallagher’s Pumpkins and Christmas Trees. Unfortunately for us, but very fortunately for Gallagher’s, they were closing down before our photo shoot (because they ran out of Christmas trees so early this year!) and we had to find another location.

In the end, I was SO happy with the location change because it meant a lot more freedom in prompts and poses for both Kyla and Braylenn who enjoyed dancing on the trees at Circle B Bar Reserve.

This tree area was where we ended up for the majority our shoot because the light was simply stunning. But there were plenty of other areas that were equally as beautiful! There was the fence:

And there was the blanket where we re-created a photo these cousins did when they were little:

And of course we had to use the Naughty and Nice pillows, though I think Kyla would have rather just skipped that one. What do you think?

These girls were so silly and did things like giving their best “silly faces” and “sleepwalking”. (Yes, I have photos of them walking towards me like zombies with their eyes closed.)

Seriously, look at that silliness!

I could go on and on about how much fun I had with these two but I think it’s best to just let the photos do the talking…
