Two Katies, an Aquarium, and a baby

I met Katie when we were working at the Florida Aquarium as summer camp instructors. We had been hired specifically for a program called “What’s in Your Watershed?” and spent a few months teaching kiddos that a watershed is— in fact—not a storage shed for water. Between enviroscape demonstrations, after-work margaritas, and themed camp Fridays, we quickly became friends and now she and her husband have a kiddo all their own! And she asked ME to capture little Archie at 6 months and snag a few family photos. Twist my arm.

Well, as you can see from Archie’s giant smile, it was an absolute JOY to photograph this little family. Talk about a happy baby.

The family is a big sailing family, so naturally we did the shoot at Davis Island Yacht Club, which provided lots of different options of scenery from mangrove tunnels, to docks, to the beach, to on an actual sail boat! (Kind of.)

If you are like me, then you cannot get enough of this cutie and are going to want to look at more pictures. Well, you’re in luck!

Katie’s family chose to do a full session (which included one wardrobe change) and it was absolutely the right choice for them! Are you interested in booking a session?

Contact me! I can recommend THE PERFECT SESSION FOR YOU BASED ON YOUR NEEDS.
