THE GOODEST PUMPKIN PUPPERS
Chief and Cowboy were the cutest pumpkin puppers you could imagine.
NO GAMES HERE — JUST SQUID!
Fall mini sessions were a great success- especially when Bowie showed up lookin’ like the cutest squid you could ever imagine.
PUMPKIN MINI SESSIONS 2021
Fall is here! And so are the pumpkins and warm fuzzy feelings. Pumpkin mini sessions are now available to book!
archie’s 1st birthday cake smash
It’s always my goal to capture true personalities in my photo sessions. Your true personality is timeless, unique, and-well-makes you, you!
That’s why I was so happy to know that Archie’s mom was pleased with what we’re now referring to as his “cake poke” photos (instead of cake smash) because that’s what he did!
Fin Pin Shop Branding Session
Jaclyn & Yasmin are self-proclaimed "sea"sters and co-owners of my absolute favorite ocean-themed small biz - Fin Pin Shop. So when they asked for a photo session in front of murals in Downtown St. Pete I was SO in.
MONIQUE’S MATERNITY SESSION - ROCKS IN MY CROCS
Highlighting Monique’s tattoo was up there on her list of “wants”. Which reminds me…if you have a specific photo in mind you KNOW you want to have, don’t be afraid to tell your photographer! I know that I personally want to make sure YOU are happy with the photos you get in the end, so don’t be afraid to speak up if there’s something you have in mind.
Schockman Family Session at Madeira Beach
There’s something funny about living in Florida and rarely frequenting the beach. (My fair skin thanks me.) But thanks to Katelyn and her family, I had an excuse to head out to Archibald Beach Park (The Hammocks) in Madeira Beach for a family photo session.
mark & meghan engagaement shoot in bluffton
When I found out that my brother and Meghan got engaged, one of my very first thoughts was “I want to take their engagement photos!!!!”
I let them enjoy their engagement for what felt like an eternity (which in reality was a few days) before hounding them saying “can I come take engagement photos?!” because they live about 6 hours north of me in South Carolina.
Introducing (Future) Nurse Jackie
When I advertised my Mother’s Day mini sessions, I wrote about how moms are basically super heroes and how I am so impressed by my mom choosing to start nursing school in her 50s. She has always been an incredible caregiver, and I’ve seen her take excellent care of our family members when they were terminally ill. She’s just got a way with taking care of other people (myself included!)
MOTHER’S DAY WITH LAURA
This is a special one. Laura is a first-time mom to Miss Cally and I am honored that I got to capture their first Mother’s Day memories together at Philippe Park!
MOTHER’S DAY WITH JACLYN
Bowie is one of my favorite kiddos. There. I said it. He is such a good-tempered little man and loves getting dirty, even if it means sometimes eating dirt and me subsequently photoshopping it off of his face.
His mom. One of my favorite humans. So to do a photo session with Bowie, his mom, and grandma at Philippe Park was a real treat.
Mother’s Day with nichelle
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting someone new during my Mother’s Day Mini Sessions this year. And that someone is the lovely Nichelle.
Wildlife Photography
If you read my “about” section, you may remember that I started my photography journey in the wildlife realm! My bachelor’s degree is in Animal Science, my master’s in Global Sustainability, I am ALL about the natural world and that animals that call it home. The very first wildlife photos I took were in the Galápagos and included incredible species like iguanas, tortoises, sea lions, boobies, and the iconic Sally Lightfoot crab.
lake louisa state park portraits session
I met Cherry at Lake Louisa State Park for a portrait session and “dreamy” is the best word we could come up with to describe the photos in the end!
Pro-BONE-O puppy shoot
What is absolute chaos and pure joy rolled into one? TEN hound/pitty puppies in a wagon waiting to be adopted!
philippe park mini session - mom of 3
February 16th. I had that date on my calendar since 2020 when Jenna reached out to me about purchasing a gift certificate to book a mini session for her sister when she came to town. It felt like forever away until all of a sudden there we were at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor getting our mini session on!
“Anyone know of any cows?”
I was pretty desperate to take some cute cow photos a couple of weeks back and am SO pleased with how many people reached out offering to have me come out and take cow photos! Read about my bovine adventures…
Two Katies, an Aquarium, and a baby
I met Katie when we were working at the Florida Aquarium as summer camp instructors. We had been hired specifically for a program called “What’s in Your Watershed?” and spent a few months teaching kiddos that a watershed is— in fact—not a storage shed for water. Between enviroscape demonstrations, after-work margaritas, and themed camp Fridays, we quickly became friends and now she and her husband have a kiddo all their own! And she asked ME to capture little Archie at 6 months and snag a few family photos. Twist my arm.
“Can I go home with you'?”
My heart just about melted when I was asked this on my latest photo shoot. Yes, yes, of course yes! You girls were the cutest!
My dear friend Katie decided to purchase a gift certificate for her friend and co-worker, Jasmine, and the anticipation of the shoot was killing me! When Jasmine reached out to let me know she wanted to do a Christmas Mini-Session I happily got her on the books.
